Pasangan Herman dan Candelaria Zapp mungkin adalah salah satu pasangan paling gila di dunia. Dengan menggunakan mobil antik Graham-Paige produksi tahun 1928, mereka telah menghabiskan waktu berkeliling dunia selama 11 tahun terakhir .

Two Suspected Terrorists Sigit Qurdowi and Hendro Yunianto Dead

Two suspected terrorists, Sigit Qurdowi and Hendro Yunianto, was shot by Special Detachment 88 in Sukoharjo, Central Java, Saturday, May 14, 2011.



The bodies of both terrorist are still in Bhayangkara Hospital in Semarang, Central Java. Related to the repatriation of the bodies, Inspector Edward Aritonang said they are still awaiting for a decision from the Detachment 88 to send the corpses home.

The bodies are being identifed by the Detachment and it'll just be sent home until the identification has finished.

Berbeda dengan para ahli lebah yang lain, mereka mengatakan lebah madu menghilang karena perubahan di bidang pertanian, penurunan bunga-bunga liar dan pestisida, dan penyebab akhir dari tewasnya lebah secara dramatis masih belum jelas. Bahkan ukuran masalah ini sulit untuk ditentukan.

Sebuah studi tiga tahun terakhir menganalisis distribusi geografis dan keanekaragaman genetik delapan spesies lebah di AS, mengandalkan catatan sejarah dan survei yang diulang dari sekitar 400 situs, untuk memastikan berapa banyak tepatnya lebah yang telah lenyap.

Para peneliti mengumpulkan database lebih dari 73.000 catatan museum dan membandingkannya dengan sampling saat ini berdasarkan survei nasional intensif lebih dari 16.000 spesimen.

Analisis nasional tersebut menemukan bahwa empat dari delapan spesies yang dianalisis mengalami penurunan sebanyak 96 persen.
