Two suspected terrorists, Sigit Qurdowi and Hendro Yunianto, was shot by Special Detachment 88 in Sukoharjo, Central Java, Saturday, May 14, 2011.
The bodies of both terrorist are still in Bhayangkara Hospital in Semarang, Central Java. Related to the repatriation of the bodies, Inspector Edward Aritonang said they are still awaiting for a decision from the Detachment 88 to send the corpses home.
The bodies are being identifed by the Detachment and it'll just be sent home until the identification has finished.
Edwards admitted that he had submitted notification to the families of two suspected terrorists about the existence of the corpses. "However, until now there is no one of the families of the terrorist visited Bayangkara Hospital," he said.
Also, a resident rice seller Nur Iman was killed in the raid of Sigit and Hendro. Police claim that Nur Iman died after being shot by one of the suspected terrorist.
A number of evidence was also seized by police from the Sigit's parent house. General Inspector Anton Bahrul Alam explained that the results of the raid found some sharp weapons such as axes, folding knives, two saber blades, and sharp weapons.
Police also seized two air rifles, pistols, and Rp. 53.200.000 in cash.
Anton added, the police also found 15 pieces of pornographic VCDs, cassette tapes 6 units, 1 bucket contents of lime powder, 1 plastic bag of white cement, envelopes and letter for requesting donations, seals, and 2 mobile phones.
Hendro Yunianto and Sigit get listed in search of people, bombing churches and Police Office at Pasar Kliwon in December 2010. Both are also involved in terrorist networks in Cirebon and planning retaliation against the Police in May 2011.
