The 42-year-old superstar filed for divorce from husband singer Marc Anthony this summer. Jennifer and Marc have three-year-old twins together and decided to call off their relationship after nearly seven years of marriage.
The split has been difficult for Jennifer, but she feels that she has grown exponentially from the experience.
“I think I’ve finally learned the biggest lesson of all,” Jennifer told Glamour magazine. “You’ve got to love yourself first.”
Jennifer thinks self-confidence is key to sustaining nourishing relationships.
“You’ve got to be OK on your own before you can be OK with somebody else. You’ve got to value yourself and know that you’re worth everything,” Jennifer explained. “And until you value yourself enough and love yourself enough to know that, you can’t really have a healthy relationship.”
Jennifer has been rumoured to be dating actor Bradley Cooper. The singer did not confirm or deny the speculations, as she prefers to let romance unfold organically. Read more
