Eva Amurri marries

Susan Sarandon’s daughter Eva Amurri has married.

The actress wed soccer commentator Kyle Martino in Charleston, South Carolina, yesterday.

Susan hosted the nuptials, alongside her ex-partner Tim Robbins. They were together for 21 years before they split in 2009, with Tim helping raise Eva.

“Tim and Susan seemed very happy to celebrate [Eva's] big day together,” a source told Us Weekly. “It was a very fun affair.”

The ceremony came following a whole week of celebrations. Among the activities organised were a cocktail party, a treasure hunt, an oyster roast and a rehearsal dinner.

Sister Helen Prejean officiated the nuptials. She is the nun Susan portrayed in 1995 movie Dead Man Walking.

It’s also known that Eva, 26, wore a wedding dress created by Lela Rose, while her partner opted for a tuxedo. Eva has previously revealed she designed Susan and her bridesmaids’ outfits herself.

Following the ceremony wedding guests attended a black tie dinner and dance, where the happy couple were toasted with champagne.

Eva and Kyle, 30, got engaged in December. She used Twitter to announce the news and spoke about how excited she was to be getting married in June.

“[It’s] going awesome. It's had its stressful moments, but it's been wonderful. My parents are helping out by being supportive, and they're not getting too involved or too opinionated about things that they need or don't want, so that's been really helpful,” she said.

Eva’s father is Italian director Franco Amurri.
